Ice Skating

I realize I am behind on my blogging, but here are some cute photos of when we went ice skating.

Service Project

One of our activities was a service project where we all made chicken noodle soup and a chocolate cake. We brought it to our Relief Society President who was sick with pneumonia. Here are some photos and video of that.

Oil Painting

Our last activity we learned how to oil paint. I was an art major so I learned to oil paint and stretch my own canvases. The girls painted a 5x7 painting of a cherry. They did a really great job! They got a little dirty, but in the end they had finished a beautiful painting of a cute cherry.

Christmas Service Project

This past December the activity day girls went to Jamestown Retirement Home and sang Christmas carols for them while they had lunch. The week before we made a cute little bags filled with candy and tied a sweet Christmas message on it. The girls did a great job singing Jingle Bells, and Away in a Manger. Then they went around and chatted with the residents and gave them the bag of sweets we made. What a fun day. :)
